Among the more successful events which enjoy the excellent locations of the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, a primary position goes undoubtedly to Arab Health, a leading trade fair congress on health at international level. Established over three decades ago, this event has gradually acquired the fame of being a must, capable of offering a highly reliable general view of the world of health, both through research results, and clinical practice and the production of ever more sophisticated instruments for diagnosis, surgery and rehabilitation.
Apart from medical practitioners and researchers, Arab Health also offers an occasion for exchange on scientific questions, as well as communication and equipment to producers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors, together with some of the important political leaders from the Arab world, who, at this prestigious venue, acquire the cultural instruments for their future decisions regarding health and social welfare policies.
The last edition was the biggest: it housed more than 2,200 exhibiting companies, with an influx of over 50,000 visitors. The Arab Health programme included a cycle of medical-scientific conferences, the ARAB HEALTH CONGRESS, in which 250 eminent, internationally famous speakers dealt with 17 different fields of specialisation (from Information Technology applied in Health to Anaesthesiology, from the Forum on health insurance to Paediatrics, from Global Marketing of Health to Cardiology, Surgery and much more).
It was flanked by:
MEDLAB, the biggest event in the Middle Eat regarding medical laboratories and their equipment, involving the participation of more than 400 suppliers dedicated to market in rapid expansion.
PHARMA, the largest international meeting dedicated to medical practitioners and chains of production and distribution of pharmaceutical and diagnostic products.
INTERNATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES, the important exhibition which responded to the high demand (due to growing population mobility) for medical facilities abroad and global insurance policies as well as the growing tendency on the part of patients and doctors in the Middle East to seek medical treatment and consultations also in international clinics and hospitals.
MIDDLE EAST REHAB, forum on rehabilitation, a sector which is undergoing great expansion in the Middle Eastern health sector, and registering ever greater investment. An ideal meeting point for producers and retailers/distributors as well as service providers, who stimulate debates and reports of considerable interest.
