The highest building in the world, at 828 metres, the Burj Khalifa – “Tower of Khalifa” in Arabic, referring to the present sovereign of Abu Dhabi, to whom it has been dedicated as a sign of gratitude for his important intervention in aid of a fellow Emirate, never ceases to be a talking point.
The opening of the At.mosphere restaurant took place on 23 January 2011. Situated on the 122th floor of the Khalifa Tower (in its turn located in Dubai Downtown, the beating pulse of the city) that is two floors below At the Top, the panoramic terrace from which one can admire from a literally unique vantage point the entire metropolis, the sea that washes it and the desert that surrounds it.
It goes without saying that At.mosphere is effectively the highest restaurant in the world (at 442 metres from ground level) and was conceived also with the objective of being at the peak also in terms of gastronomy, class and exclusiveness. Conceived of as a place in which to spend memorable moments insurmountable by any other experience, it has been developed in two environments which are linked but which have specific characteristics: The Longue and The Grill, including reception room, main restaurant, rooms for private dinners and several cooking points which are visible to guests (all of which with a maximum seating capacity for 210 persons).
With their contemporary design, the individual environments and spaces offer the highest comfort, decorative touches of the highest class and great high windows, so that one’s gaze can range, if that be possible, to the infinite.
One enters via the ample room to which you will be brought by the super-fast and futuristic lift, which can transport guests to the 123rd floor in less than one minute. Crossing through comfortable inner rooms which are naturally panoramic since all walls are in glass, one then reaches the various restaurant halls.
Here we come to the “heart” of the restaurant, which favours a cuisine which is healthy, based on fresh products and simple cooking methods, above all with the use of the grill, roasting and the oven, Naturally, the beverages menu, for alcoholic drinks and non, is extremely rich and assorted.
After an initial period of experimentation, At.mosphere, the BurjKhalifa’s restaurant which is literally at the “highest level”, is being ever more appreciated by a clientele which is particularly elegant and attentive to every particular detail, thanks also to an ever increasing staff mix. The rest is the fruit of the atmosphere: quite different at lunch compared to dinner- in both moments of the day it manages to offer deep relaxation and invaluable enjoyment.
Some important information, useful for planning one’s exclusive culinary experience on the Burj Khalifa:

- Open for dinner from 19:00h to 23:30h
